Hi everyone. I wanted to ask you for some help. We all know there are many things wrong in the foster care system. We know that there are things that work well too. We want to hear about these things. We want to work with you all to help get the positive actions spread around to all the agencies while shining a bright, antiseptic light on the negative issues. I'm single, never married, never had a child. I am thinking of adopting but how can i manage? Can i afford it? I am also thinking about adopting 2 very young children so they'd have sibling.

After being matched with 12 kids, none of them panned out for us.  I guess there were better families waiting...   Now, the adoption worker from DCFS called us yesterday to ask if we'd be interested…
